"Track & Field" by Enchanting Ft. Kali - The opening track this week (no pun intended) is called "Track and Field". The southern girls came together to rap about how they finesse these dudes! In an interview with XXL last year, Kali said fans said she sounded like Enchanting, so it's amazing to this collab come to life: "I been running through this bag like it's track and field."
"Unlock It" by ABRA Ft. Playboi Carti - The two artists slid so hard on this beat! This is most definitely my favorite song off the playlist this week. And to think that this song almost never reached our ears due to a mixing disagreement!? Press play now and listen to Abra's angelic voice. I promise you WILL NOT REGRET IT.
"Dip" by Stefflon Don And Ms Banks - If this song doesn't have you shaking your booty in the first 5 seconds then... you got me f**ked up! LOL. This new song by the two English rappers is the ultimate dancehall hip hop anthem! Are you ready to shake it booty for the #DipChallenge?! Be sure to check out the music video on YouTube which now has over 2.5 Million views.
"Tales by Moonlight" by Tiwa Savage Ft. Amaarae - Grammy nominated songwriter Tiwa Savage just dropped a 5-track EP called Water & Gari. "Tales by Moonlight" is the lead single off the project! The other features on the project include Nas, Brandy, and Tay Iwar. This is such a feel good love record!
"Okay Yeah!" by Coi Leray - You already know I'm from Jersey so I will always support anyone from Jerz! Coi is so consistent with her music, and I love that she never listens to these haters and always does her own thing. "Keep my eye on the money I'll never go broke, See I won't allow it" periodddd.
"Don't Let Me Go" by Asian Doll - This is definitely a love song dedicated to King Von, her boyfriend who recently passed, which she dropped on his would be 27th birthday. "Don't Let Me Go" really made me tear up, because I can't even imagine losing the love of my life.. She raps: "Don't let me go baby, I mean this shit for real/I'ma give you all of me this time."
"Like You Do" by Jourdan Jade - It's so hard to believe that this is her first single! The singer/songwriter/producer is extremely talented and it's easy to see that this is just the beginning of her music career. Jourdan currently owns a CBD Company, Jade Healing, and is now going to be your next favorite artist. The catchy dance track "Like You Do" is guaranteed to be stuck in your head all day long. Check out the trippy music video on Youtube as well which features a bunch of sexy stoner chicks (her being one of them)!
Ease My Mind (Come Over) Nija - I'm seriously in love with both the vocals and the production of this track. She flows so gracefully over the beat! If you don't know who she is, she has written songs for Beyonce, Cardi B, Chloe X Halle, Lady Gaga, and more of your favs. In "Ease My Mind" she lets you know that she's been working hard and stressing out, so all she needs from you is to ease her mind.
"Forever The Moment" ZEPKINS - The last song on the playlist is "Forever The Moment" off ZEPKINS brand new project of the same name. The album cover is so cute and shows Zepkins in a bikini, heels, and a tiara on a couch surrounded by trophies and dolls. "Stop watching me, watch your health ho, you ain't on my map."
