Flo Milli "Weak" - Flo Milli sh*t! In her track "Weak" she touches on the subject of how she has a ton of options, but these men are so thirsty and weak! Today Flo Milli actually dropped her long awaited EP "Ho, Why Is You Here?," along with the visuals for this track! Be sure to check out both and support the 20 year old's debut tape.
Jhene Aiko Ft. Kehlani "B.S. (Remix)" - Jhene released her Deluxe album version of Chilombo, and we got a remix of one of the best tracks on the album! Kehlani joined Jhene, and it's incredible how great the flow together (as if we didn't know from "Let Me Change Your Life" On Lani's album).
Tinashe "Rascal (Superstar)" - This Sage The Gemini-produced track is definitely THE ONE! Tinashe has been on a roll since splitting from her former label, and she is showing ZERO signs of stopping. In this new track (which has the sexiest music video EVER btw), she flexes on all of us by reminding us how good she looks, and how she is living her best life: "Out the bottle, sippin’ on some Dom Pérignon, I look forward to the s*** you’ll never know/I’m a superstar, b*tch".
Aluna, Princess Nokia & Jada Kingdom "Get Paid" - Aluna recently announced her debut album will be dropping August 28th, and this is our first taste! This dancehall track is deinitely one to get you up out of your seat and make you start dancing. She spoke about the song "This is an aspirational celebration about black women and women of color getting paid, in opposition of the reality that we are consistently undervalued for our work."
Miraa May & Haile "Say Yeah" - This song is the perfect mix of dancehall and r&b. The British singers voices intertwined beautifully on the track, and they just wanna make you say yeah!
Anne-Marie Ft. Doja Cat "To Be Young" - Anne-Marie and Doja Cat have teamed up for this hot dance track. They go on about what it is to be young, and all the trials and tribulations that come with it.
Koffee "Lockdown" - THIS ONE!!!! This is probably our favorite song on this playlist to be honest. As soon as the song starts, you already know you're in for a treat! You just have to stop what you're doing and start dancing and singing along "Where will we go?/When di quarantine ting done and everybody touch road?"
Sinead Harnett Ft. Masego & VanJess "Stickin'" - From the UK to USA! Sinead linked up with Masego and VanJess to create this beautiful masterpiece of a song, not to mention that Sunny Kale (Stormzy) and Mike Brainchild produced the song. Sinead is dropping her second album this year, and this seems to be the lead single. Great choice!
Mahalia Ft. Pink Sweat$ "BRB" - Mahalia and Pink Sweat$ sound great together on "BRB". A song about how you might not always be together physically, but when you both link back up together it is the loveliest time ever.
